Who benefits from speed reading?

Students – university courses typically require you to read 30 or more books a week. This is impossible using ‘normal’ reading techniques, but quite doable when you know-how. (Check out Adam’s experience after doing our photoreading – speed reading training.)
Computing, law, medicine – and other subjects where you need very detailed information.
It’s not enough just to ‘get the gist’.
Speed reading shows you how to get layers of information – including those last details – in a fraction of the time it takes using old-fashioned reading.
Actors – on our speed reading courses (and in the Spd Rdng book) you learn how to remember what you read, word for word, if necessary.
Your personal development is not complete if you don’t know the speed reading and photo reading techniques we teach on this course.

Companies, corporations and institutions – to keep up to date with the latest information is the key to the success of any company or organisation. We provide in-house speed-reading trainings for your specific needs.
Please bring six books with you to read during the course
The books should be factual, sources of information, NOT novels, which you have not previously read. (After the course you will have the skills to read novels more quickly if you want to.)
Book 1 – first chance to put your new skills into practice – we suggest something less than 300 pages about a topic you are interested in.
Books 2, 3, 4, 5 – books on the same subject, or which give different insights into or information about the same subject which you will read together at one sitting (using the ‘syntopic processing’ technique).
Book 6 – any factual book of your choice.
You are welcome to bring books which you are using on educational courses or as part of your work. You can bring ebooks on your Kindle devices, iPad, laptops, etc.
After the course, you will be able to apply your skills to any textual material (books, journals, emails, etc), but we recommend that while you are learning, you choose books which give you information you need for specific purposes in your life, eg to pass exams, to produce a report, to prepare a presentation, to learn about a new subject, to gather information for a project, etc.

Lessons will be done on Zoom in English. I will send you an email with the link, it is very easy to use. Zoom allows me to share documents while giving the lesson.
You don’t need special skills before you start (you learn the special skills on the course). All the practice is done during the course. After the course, you will be able to apply your skills to any textual material (books, journals, emails, etc)
Please bring 2 books with you to read during the course. Book 1 – first chance to put your new skills into practice – we suggest something less than 300 pages about a topic you are interested in. Books 2 - any factual book of your choice. Something to take notes with is also recommended.
